What is the authenticity of the hadith about the descent of the four angels upon the Prophet ﷺ mentioning the virtue of sending blessings upon him ten times in the morning and ten times in the evening?

This statement has no basis from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and attributing it to him is a forbidden lie. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever narrates a Hadith (definition) from me which he considers to be a lie, then he is one of the liars." What indicates its falsehood is the feebleness of its phrases and its excesses, which do not resemble the words of prophets or revelation. As for sending blessings upon the Prophet ten times in the morning and evening, a weak Hadith has been reported concerning it, but the virtue of sending blessings upon him and doing so frequently is known as a necessity of the religion.
