Is the Hadith: "Whoever invokes blessings upon me ten times in the morning and ten times in the evening will receive my intercession on the Day of Resurrection" weak, despite it being reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said it, and why?

May Allah reward the questioner for his keenness on accuracy. The hadith mentioned by Sheikh Al-Albani in Sahih Al-Jami' was later weakened by him in Da'if Al-Targhib wal-Tarhib and in Al-Silsilah Al-Da'ifah. He was preceded in weakening it by Al-Hafiz Al-Iraqi and Al-Hafiz Al-Sakhawi. However, its chain of narration was considered good by Al-Hafiz Al-Mundhiri, Al-Haythami, and Al-Suyuti.
