Is it correct to refuse to donate gifts to poor families on Christmas, because the family says, "May Allah bless the Christians" upon receiving these gifts?

The glorification by Muslims of the holidays of disbelievers, such as the birth of Christ, by showing joy or giving gifts, is an act of imitation of them. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever imitates a people is one of them." Muslims must beware of this, for Muslims have no holidays other than Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. Charity should be given to those who are deserving at any time, especially during seasons of blessings like Ramadan (definition) and the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, and during times of need and hardship, and not be linked to the holidays of disbelievers.
