Is the reward for reciting the Quran in prayer multiplied to 25 good deeds per letter? And does speed in recitation and not observing the rules of Tajweed affect the reward mentioned in the Hadith: "Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah will have a good deed, and a good deed is ten times its like"? And is one who recites the Quran with the intention of strengthening memorization rewarded as in this Hadith, even if they do not ponder its meaning?

Reciting the Qur’an within prayer is better and brings a greater reward than reciting it outside of prayer. For every letter recited from the Qur’an, one receives ten good deeds. The obligatory rules of Tajweed (definition) involve pronouncing each letter from its correct articulation point and giving it its due rights and characteristics. As for the desirable Tajweed, it pertains to aspects like nasalizations (ghunnahs) and elongations (mudood), and similar rules. Reading without contemplation still brings reward, but reading with contemplation yields a greater reward.
