The answer

What has been mentioned about memorizing the Quran is a praiseworthy act and carries a great reward, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The best among you is he who learns the Quran and teaches it." And the memorizer of the Quran will have a crown of dignity placed upon his head on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be said to the reciter of the Quran: "Recite and ascend and recite distinctly, for your station will be at the last verse you recite." Erasing the verses of the Quran from a tablet after memorization with water and a cloth is permissible, provided that both are pure.
