The answer

Muslims are in agreement about the obligation of Friday prayer upon every accountable, free, adult, sane, resident male. Severe warnings have been issued against those who abandon it without a valid excuse.

As for congregational prayer, a group of scholars held the view that it is an individual obligation (fardh ayn), another group held that it is a collective obligation (fardh kifayah), and still others held that it is a confirmed (Sunnah mu’akkadah). All of them agree that whoever abandons the congregation without an excuse and prays alone is deprived.

Falling behind from the congregation for the reasons mentioned in the question is a baseless assertion for which there is no evidence.
