What is the ruling on a male doctor being alone with a female patient, or a female doctor being alone with a male patient? Is such a private meeting permissible out of necessity if there are no doctors of the same gender available? And what would negate the state of seclusion for both genders?

Previously, the ruling on a woman receiving medical treatment from a man, or vice versa, and its regulations were clarified. Among these regulations is the absence of khalwa (definition) (private seclusion). This is negated by the presence of a mature mahram (definition), but not by the presence of an immature person. As for the presence of a woman with more than one man, or vice versa, there is a difference of opinion among scholars on this matter.
