Speech and Backbiting
- Is "Bad manners spoil deeds" a Hadith? What is its درجه (degree/grading)? How do bad manners spoil deeds? And what is the difference between deeds being spoiled and deeds being annulled (frustrated)?
- What are tale-bearing (namima) and backbiting (ghiba)? Is it considered tale-bearing to relay bad things about a person while mentioning their name, or is it also considered tale-bearing without mentioning their name? And is speaking about a person's flaws in the presence of someone who is already aware of them considered backbiting?
- Does committing unlawful acts, such as backbiting, gossip, and mockery, invalidate and prevent the remembrance of Allah and acts of worship like ablution, reading the Qur'an, and charity? And are these acts causes for a decrease in religiosity, the devil's deception, and hardness of heart?

- Will a person be held accountable for his speech if it is understood as backbiting or gossip, while his intention was otherwise, and do angels assess his words based on intention or the apparent meaning of the speech?

- What is the ruling on unintentional cursing or insulting, such as saying "you are a liar" or "a swindler" without intending to mock or insult? Does this fall under backbiting? And does it necessitate an apology, even if the person addressed was unaffected? What is the ruling on apologizing to someone who was playfully pushed or poked?
- What is the ruling regarding a girl who utters obscene language with her friends and backbites people, then repents and seeks forgiveness?
- What is the ruling on forbidden expressions, such as "May the house of he who begot you be ruined," and what is the ruling on backbiting, slander, and speaking ill of people?
- Is it permissible for a father to teach his daughter bad morals such as lying, backbiting, and slandering, and to let her listen to songs and watch bad movies, then belittle and insult her in front of everyone, claiming that he is teaching her practically? Is the father sinful if he watches movies and listens to songs in front of her, despite disliking it? And is the daughter obliged to obey her husband if he wishes to raise the children with the same aforementioned method?
