What is the ruling of Islamic law on a married man marrying another woman while there are disputes between him and his current wife?

If you are capable of marriage and of being just [to your wives], there is no harm in marrying a divorced woman who is older than you. Indeed, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, married Khadijah, may Allah be pleased with her, and she was a ثَيِّب (previously married) and older than him. However, marrying another woman may not be the correct solution for marital disputes, and it might worsen matters. Furthermore, interaction between non-mahram (definition) men and women is a gateway to evil and corruption.
