Is applying glue and color to conceal excess eyebrow hair, then redrawing them in a new shape that resembles plucking (namṣ), truly prohibited, and what should I do about it?

It is permissible to lighten the eyebrows and similar actions that do not involve plucking or altering Allah's creation, because they are merely dyes that can be removed. However, it is forbidden if it involves deception, adornment for non-mahram (definition) men, or imitation of disbelieving women. If a woman feels unease in her heart about doing it and refrains from it out of piety, then she is on the right path.
