What is to be followed in the event of a conflict between a madhhab (school of thought) and the Hadith and Sunnah? Is it the madhhab or the Sunnah? And what is the ruling on switching between madhhabs to free oneself from the restrictions of a particular madhhab?

One must follow the evidence from the Qur'an and Sunnah (definition), even if it contradicts the adopted madhhab (definition), provided that the understanding aligns with that of the Salaf. Touching a woman does not nullify ablution at all, based on the hadith (definition) that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, kissed some of his wives and then went out to prayer without performing ablution. However, if something is discharged due to lust, then ablution is performed for the discharge, not for the touch itself. As for the Almighty's saying: "or you have touched women," what is meant by it is sexual intercourse. It is not necessary to switch from one madhhab to another to perform the Hajj pilgrimage; rather, it should be performed as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, performed it. Qunut in Fajr prayer is sunnah only during calamities, and one who omits qunut, their prayer is valid.
