Does it entail a fidyah upon me, since I exited the state of ihram before reaching the original Miqat?

Whoever enters into a state of ihram (definition) for a ritual (Hajj or Umrah (definition)) is obligated to complete it, and it is not permissible to abandon it, for Allah Almighty says: “And complete the Hajj and Umrah for Allah.” (Quran 2:196) Abandoning the ihram is considered futile and does not invalidate it. The second ihram is not valid, and since you have completed the rituals of Umrah, you have exited your state of ihram. Removing the ihram garments and wearing sewn clothes before completing the Umrah is considered committing prohibited acts during ihram. If you were aware of the prohibition, you are obligated to offer a fidyah (definition) (expiation): feeding six poor persons, with half a sa' for each, or sacrificing a sheep that is suitable for udhiyah (definition), or fasting for three days. If you were unaware, then, according to the preponderant opinion, nothing is due upon you.
