Is it permissible for a Salafi Muslim man to marry a Christian woman, and what are the conditions for that, if any?

Marriage to a woman of the People of the Book is permissible under certain conditions, but it is not recommended due to the potential harm it entails and the non-fulfillment of conditions by some of them. Sheikh Ibn Baz, may Allah have mercy on him, mentioned that marrying them in this era might lead to the children converting to Christianity or the wife falling into immorality. Whoever abstains from such a marriage, seeking what is better for his religion and the religion of his children, Allah will compensate him with something better.
