Laylat al-Qadr is a blessed night, better than a thousand months. Its virtue is attained by observing it with prayer, supplication, and recitation of the Quran, especially in the last ten nights of . The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to strive in observing these nights and would awaken his family. Whoever stands in prayer on Laylat al-Qadr with faith and hoping for reward, his past sins will be forgiven. One receives a share of its blessings by praying with the Imam. The best deeds on this night combine prayer, recitation, supplication, and contemplation. If a Muslim is unable to do all of that, let him do what is easy for him, such as supplication and the like.
