Is it permissible for a woman to work when there is a capable provider who can support her? And must she obey her husband if he refuses her work, or is it permissible for her to continue it under the pretext that it is provision from Allah, knowing that she has a child and her husband's salary is sufficient and he does not take from her money?

A woman's work is permissible if it is lawful and free from Sharia (definition) violations or temptations. It may even be recommended if Muslims are in need of it. However, a married woman, unless stipulated in the marriage contract, is not permitted to work outside her home except with her husband's permission, as long as he provides for her adequately. It is forbidden for her to leave without her husband's permission or a necessity.
