Is homosexuality an affliction from Allah for which there is no cure, and is marriage a useful recommendation for getting rid of it?

Allah did not wrong humanity; rather, humans wrong themselves by choosing the path of evil. Allah sent messengers to guide us to good. The people of Lot were punished not because they were forced into evil acts, and Allah is far removed from injustice. One must strive against the self and abandon sins. Allah rejoices in His servant's repentance and accepts it, transforming evil deeds into good ones. Humans should seek help from Allah and supplicate. Among the well-known supplications are, "O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency," and the supplication, "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, my sight, my heart, and my sperm," and the supplication for leaving the home. One must distance themselves from bad company and those who encourage disobedience. A servant has no right to question their Lord, for Allah is not to be questioned about what He does. The trial of disbelievers might be more severe, which is their deprivation of the sweetness of faith. To treat this affliction, one should consult specialized doctors.
