Is it valid for some sheikhs' recitation of poetry in their lessons to be subject to the same rulings as the recitation of the Holy Quran, to the extent that some people think it is Quran?

The teacher and speaker must distinguish between the Holy Quran and the words of creation, out of reverence for the rituals of Allah. The Quran is unique in its recitation (tartil) and the application of Tajwid rules, as it is the word of Allah. As for poetry and the words of people, they are not to be recited with Tajwid rules. This was well-known among the righteous predecessors, such as Ibn Mas'ud's disapproval of those who recited the Quran like poetry. Nevertheless, there is no objection to reciting poetry calmly and with detail, highlighting its meanings, especially if it contains wisdom and admonitions, but without applying the Tajwid rules specific to the Quran.
