The question

Is the questioner obligated to continue in his job, in which he later discovered he had committed an act whose حرمة (unlawfulness/prohibition) he had not realized at the time, or must he leave it, or inform the employer of his act, or is repentance sufficient, and is what he spent from this salary on sadaqat (charity) for the poor and needy acceptable?

The answer

It has been previously explained that the salary is permissible (halal), and charity given from it is valid and accepted, Allah willing. The questioner should rectify his present and future, and abandon the obsessive doubts concerning the previous analysis sample issue.
