Are the two divorce pronouncements that occurred at the same time, one in the form "You are divorced" and the other in the form "You are divorced by three," counted as one divorce or three, taking into consideration a previous divorce pronouncement?

The majority of scholars, including the four Madhhabs, hold the view that a triple divorce pronounced in a single utterance at one sitting counts as three divorces, thereby making the wife unlawful for her husband until she marries another man in a marriage of desire. However, Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah is of the opinion that it counts as only one divorce. As for a wife encouraging her husband to pronounce a triple divorce, it is unlawful.
