What is the ruling on a committed young man who is negligent in prayer and sleeps through it, and does not work diligently to solve his problem?

A Muslim must maintain the performance of prayer at its appointed time, using alarms or by being alerted by another person. It is not permissible to sleep after the time for prayer has begun for one who knows that they will not wake up. If one sleeps before the time for prayer begins, they must take the necessary measures to wake up before its time expires, otherwise they would be negligent. Whoever takes the necessary measures is not considered sinful, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is no negligence in sleep," and "The pen is lifted from three: from the sleeper until he awakens."
