The answer

If the marriage contract has been concluded between you and your fiancée, she has become your wife, and it is permissible for you to be in seclusion with her and to do everything that is permissible for a man with his wife. Any pregnancy resulting from this will be legally attributed to you. However, if it is merely an engagement, she is a stranger to you, and it is not permissible for you to be in seclusion with her. Although seclusion with the wife after the contract is legally permissible, it has become customary for people not to consummate the marriage until after the wedding; out of fear of embarrassment or pregnancy before the wedding in the event of contract annulment or the husband's death. What leads to such embarrassment should be avoided.
