What is the Sunnah regarding wearing Eid clothes for one who is able to buy new ones every Eid?

It is sunnah for Eid clothes to be new. If new clothes are not available, then one should wear the best available clothes, in order to show joy and happiness and to vex the enemies of Allah. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to wear his most beautiful clothes for the two Eids and for Friday. A Muslim should be moderate in their clothing, with neither extravagance nor stinginess. As for clothing, some of it is: obligatory, recommended, permissible, and disliked.
