How should one deal with a mother who always claims to be right, gets angry when her opinion is contradicted, utters things then denies them, shows favoritism among her children, and interferes in all their affairs after they are married, knowing that she prays and fasts?

It is recommended to be dutiful to your mother and to be patient with her harm, responding to it with kindness, while seeking reward from Allah and supplicating for her guidance and forgiveness. For the right of a mother is great, and your good treatment will change her. Remember the verse: "And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him, and to parents, excellence" and the Hadith: "Your mother, then your mother, then your mother, then your father." However, if she commands disobedience to the Creator, then there is no obedience to a creature.
