What are the verses or advice that distance sorrow and anger and help one bear the calamities of this world?
The Noble Quran is guidance, healing, blessings, and tranquility for the believers. It is a cure for worries and sorrows, as Allah Almighty says: "And We send down of the Qur'an that which is healing and mercy for the believers," and His saying: "Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured." Among the prophetic supplications transmitted for removing worry and sorrow are: "O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant..." (the Hadith), as well as frequently reciting: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief..." This worldly life is a trial and a test, and trials are good for the believer, raising their ranks and earning them reward, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Wondrous is the affair of the believer! All of his affairs are good for him." It is advised to fear Allah, thank Him for His blessings, and be patient during trials.
