The answer

Grief and worry are natural and do not contradict faith, as Jacob, peace be upon him, said: "I only complain of my suffering and my grief to Allah." However, one should not surrender to them, for they are from Satan. The one afflicted with grief should be patient and strive to get rid of it by remembering Allah, supplicating to Him, and imploring Him. One should also be keen to dispel grief by being content with Allah's decree, for Allah's choice for His servant is better than his own choice for himself, and striving in obedience to Allah and drawing closer to Him is of greater benefit to the servant.
