The answer

The intellect is a divine gift that distinguishes and burdens man, and through it, he discerns between good and evil. However, the intellect alone is not what distinguishes man; he also has his unique outward form, his ability to laugh and cry, and unique biological and organic characteristics. Furthermore, Allah Almighty has honored him and favored him above many of His creatures, as stated in His saying: "And We have certainly honored the children of Adam and carried them on land and sea and provided them with good things and preferred them over much of what We have created, with [definite] preference."
