What is the ruling on giving products containing the letter "E" - which are forbidden to consume - to poor and needy Muslims? And does this contradict the Almighty's saying: "O you who have believed, spend from the good things which you have earned and from that which We have produced for you from the earth. And do not aim for what is bad to spend from it, while you would not take it yourselves except with closed eyes. And know that Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy"? And is it permissible to give them to poor non-Muslims?

If the presence of pork ingredients in food is confirmed, it is not permissible to eat it or give it to a Muslim or a disbeliever. However, it is permissible to feed it to animals. If there is no pork in it, there is no harm in eating it or gifting it. If there is doubt or hesitation, it is permissible to gift it to others, citing the hadith "Leave that which makes you doubt for that which does not make you doubt," and the story of the sheep that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, fed to the captives. Furthermore, the action of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, regarding nabīdh (a type of beverage) is cited, where he would give it to his servant after three days if it had not changed, but if signs of intoxication appeared in it, he would pour it out. Verse 267 of Surat Al-Baqarah is not related to this issue, as it prohibits giving bad wealth in charity, and it specifically pertains to obligatory charity. As for voluntary charity, it is permissible to give anything.
