Is one who follows the opinion of whoever permits drawing the head with features, but without the body, committing a sin?

We have previously explained that drawing the face alone of a human, or drawing it with part of the body without the rest, where the human cannot live without it, is a matter of dispute among scholars. The most cautious and pious approach for Allah the Almighty is to avoid drawing the face specifically, due to what is stated in the noble Hadith: "The image is the head; if the head is cut off, there is no image." Therefore, we have favored the view that the presence of the head is what determines the prohibition of an image. If a layman finds conflicting opinions among muftis, he should follow the one he trusts most. If they are all equally trustworthy to him, there is no harm in him choosing either of the two opinions.
