Does removing thick hair above the the eyebrow fall under the prohibited plucking (namṣ)?

Thick eyebrows that disfigure one's appearance and deviate from what is customary are permissible to thin to the extent that removes the disfigurement. This does not fall under the prohibited plucking (namṣ), but rather it is the removal of a defect. This is supported by the story of Arfajah ibn As'ad, who had a nose made of gold. However, if the thickness is natural and not a defect, it is not permissible to alter it. A woman's feeling that it is a defect might be a delusion from Satan to beautify altering Allah's creation. The criterion for what is permissible and what is forbidden is not what is common among women who pluck their eyebrows.
