The answer

The prohibited plucking (al-Nams) has been a subject of scholarly disagreement regarding its definition. Some confined it to plucking eyebrow hair. Abu Dawud said: "Al-Namisah is she who engraves the eyebrow until it becomes thin." Whereas many scholars were of the opinion that there is no harm in what is done to remove a blemish. If the hair intended for removal is not from the eyebrow or if it causes disfigurement, then there is no harm in removing it.
