What are the manners, obligations, and Sunnah acts of supplication (du'a), and how is it performed? How should it begin and end? Should worldly matters be prioritized over those of the Hereafter in it? And to what extent is raising the hands in supplication valid, and how is it done?

Allah Almighty loves to be asked and is angered by those who do not ask Him, and supplication (Du'a) is worship. Among the etiquettes of supplication are: Tawhid (monotheism), sincerity, praising Allah, sending blessings upon the Prophet, facing the Qiblah, raising the hands with the palms facing the sky, certainty of a response, persistence and not being hasty, being firm in one's request, humility and submissiveness, supplicating three times, ensuring one's food and clothing are lawful, and concealing the supplication.
