Is it permissible to recite the morning and evening adhkar at different times, and to eat between them, or must they be recited continuously like the Qur’an?

The Quran does not prohibit eating or other activities while reciting it. However, scholars disliked interrupting the recitation with speech. As for remembrance (dhikr), there is no harm in not reciting them in a specific order or interrupting them with an action, as there is no text mandating such, and the matter is broad. Nevertheless, it is preferable to devote oneself to them with ritual purity (tahara) and facing the Qibla if possible, so that the one performing dhikr is in the most complete state. Despite this, dhikr is permissible in all circumstances.
