Is it permissible for a woman to adorn herself with jewelry and the like for every prayer to be beautiful for God, or is this considered an innovation?

It is permissible for a woman to pray adorned with jewelry if men do not see her, and the basic principle in this regard is permissibility. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded women to give charity, and they began casting off their ornaments. It is permissible for her to pray wearing gold and pure makeup, with humility and devotion to God.

However, it is not recommended for a woman to intentionally wear jewelry for the sake of prayer, and none of the scholars have recommended that, except for what was narrated from some of the early Muslims concerning their dislike for a woman to pray without a necklace so as not to resemble men. The adornment of the mosque mentioned in the verse was interpreted by Ibn Abbas as clothing. If a woman goes out to the mosque, she should go out in clothing without jewelry and without perfume.
