My husband had intercourse with me one day while I was observing a compensatory fast. Am I liable for anything?

Fasting to make up for missed Ramadan days is obligatory, and it is not permissible to break it except out of necessity. Intentionally breaking this fast incurs sin. However, expiation (kaffarah) is not required for sexual intercourse during such a fast. Rather, one must make up that day again along with repentance, because the time of performance (Ramadan) is not sacred in this context.
