If the husband insists on committing evil deeds, the wife has the right to seek divorce from him due to his wickedness. It is permissible for her to pray for the facilitation of the divorce, but it is better to pray for Allah to ordain what is good for her. The advice is not to seek divorce, but to be patient with her husband, to frequently supplicate for his guidance, and to strive to reform him by reminding him of Allah and the Last Day, urging him to avoid the company of the heedless and to associate with the righteous, and to observe the obligatory duties, especially the five daily prayers in congregation, because prayer restrains from indecency and evil.
