Is raising the finger while reciting Al-Fatiha silently or aloud, or upon hearing the Imam recite verses that mention the greatness and majesty of Allah, such as: "The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful; Master of the Day of Judgment; You alone we worship and You alone we ask for help," considered a sin or an act of apostasy, given that it was not reported from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him?

Pointing with the index finger is prescribed only during the Tashahhud and supplication. It has not been authentically reported from the Prophet (peace be upon him) or the early Muslims (Salaf) that they pointed with a finger when reciting the Qur’an. Any act of worship that has not been authentically reported from the Prophet (peace be upon him) is an innovation (bid'ah). Moving the finger frequently with the palm during prayer invalidates it according to the Shafi’i school of thought.
