Is it permissible to raise the finger after prayer when reciting "There is no god but Allah alone, He has no partner. To Him belongs sovereignty, and to Him belongs all praise, and He is over all things competent" one hundred times?

There is no harm in pointing with the finger at the word of Tawhid, "La ilaha illa Allah" (There is no god but Allah). This has been mentioned in books of Fiqh, and it has been narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to point with his finger without moving it when supplicating, and when he said "Ahad, Ahad" (One, One), he pointed with his forefinger. In the Farewell Sermon, he raised his forefinger towards the sky when he said, "O Allah, bear witness."
