What is the ruling on prayer when urine drips and the worshiper feels unable to control urination? Is it sufficient to sprinkle water on the trousers without taking them off?

Not being able to control urine three times a week is not considered incontinence ( سلس ), and therefore, prayer is not valid without purifying the body and clothes. Sprinkling water is not sufficient because purification is a condition for the validity of prayer. Whoever prayed with impurity, being ignorant of its ruling, must make up all the prayers he performed without purification. If he cannot determine their number, he should make them up until he is reasonably certain that he has fulfilled his obligation. This making up of prayers applies only to what occurred after puberty.
