Is a son considered disobedient ("aqq") if he reprimands his father for interfering in his marital affairs, or if he leaves him and departs, especially given that the father was the one who pressured him to marry and refused his travel for work, and controls his marital life after the mother's death, knowing that the son is an only child and has no siblings, and his financial situation is difficult?

Disobeying parents (ʿUqūq al-Wālidayn) is forbidden and is one of the gravest major sins. The questioner must repent, feel remorse, and apologize to his father, while striving to be dutiful and kind to him. He may advise his father gently or seek the help of someone who can advise him. It is permissible for him to live separately from his father if he does not neglect his care and obedience in what is right. It is also permissible to travel for the purpose of earning a livelihood if it does not result in the neglect of the father.
