There is no specific reason mentioned in the books of Tafsir and Quranic sciences for the complete revelation of Surat An-Nazi'at. However, some scholars have mentioned a reason for the revelation of its final verses (They ask you concerning the Hour: when will be its appointed time...): It was said that the Prophet, peace be upon him, frequently mentioned the matter of the Hour until these verses were revealed, and it was also said that the Quraysh persistently questioned the Prophet, peace be upon him, about the timing of the Hour.

Sheikh Khalid Al-Muzaini stated that Aisha's hadith is not a direct reason for the revelation of the noble verses, due to the difference in context between the hadith and the verse. However, he affirmed that the Prophet, peace be upon him, was indeed asked about the Hour, as Allah Almighty mentioned this in His saying: (They ask you). It is permissible to be guided by the mentioned reasons for the revelation of the final verses, even if they were not narrated by the authors of the Nine Books.
