Is the prayer of "تحية المسجد" (greeting the mosque) obligatory upon entering the mosque after the congregational prayer has ended and before the obligatory (Fard) prayer, if one is praying alone?

Every prayer performed by one who enters the mosque, whether it is an obligatory prayer (fard), a regular supererogatory prayer (ratibah), or a voluntary prayer (tatawwu’), whether it is performed on time (mu’addah), or made up (maqḍiyyah), or a vowed prayer (mandhurah), suffices as the “Tahiyyat al-Masjid” (greeting of the mosque), provided it consists of two rak’ahs or more. The greeting is not achieved by performing the funeral prayer (janazah (definition)), or a prostration of recitation (sajdat al-tilawah), or a one-rak’ah prayer. The worshipper receives the reward for both the greeting and the obligatory or recommended prayer if he intends both prayers simultaneously.
