The answer

Reading the Qur’an requires correcting pronunciation through reception and listening, and reflecting upon its meanings is a religious requirement, for Allah Almighty says: "A Book We have sent down to you, full of blessings, that they may ponder over its verses." And whoever recites the Qur’an silently or without reflection will be rewarded for the recitation, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah will have a good deed." Listening to the reciter and reciting along with him or following his recitation is permissible if it is more beneficial for you to attain the virtue of listening and reciting, and it does not lead to confusion.
