Does a triple divorce issued by the husband to his wife, in different forms, and in a state of extreme anger, take effect, knowing that the husband regrets it for the sake of their child?

A wife who insults her in-laws and beats her husband while being aware of her actions commits a sin and must repent. If she is not aware, then there is no sin upon her.

A husband beating his wife for disciplinary purposes is permissible, with certain conditions.

A husband's divorce and prohibition of his wife are not binding if he was not aware at the time of anger.

If he was aware at the time he said, "You are divorced three times at once," then she becomes unlawful to him according to the majority of scholars, and he is not required to say "You are divorced by three" or "You are prohibited" thereafter.

If he said "divorced, divorced, divorced" and did not intend three, then only one divorce is binding. However, his saying "You are divorced by three at once" results in the wife becoming unlawful according to the majority of scholars, and he is not required to say "You are prohibited" thereafter.

Sheikh al-Islam is of the view that divorcing three times at once only results in a single divorce, and that successive divorces without reconciliation do not result in a divorce.
