Is it the right of a wife whose husband has passed away to reside in the marital home with her daughter, and do the husband's family have the right to use the apartment in her absence?

If the apartment is owned by the husband, it is divided among his heirs according to Islamic law. If it is owned by his father, the wife and daughter have no right to it. If the furniture is part of the Mahr (dowry), it belongs to the wife. The financial support and accommodation of the daughter are incumbent upon her paternal grandfather if she and her mother do not have sufficient means. The grandfather is also obligated to provide accommodation for the custodian (the mother) along with the daughter.
