What is the wife entitled to from the inheritance of her deceased husband, from whom she had no children, and who only owned the marital home, while his parents are still alive? And what is the Sharia ruling on her remaining in the marital home or returning to her parents' home?

The wife's share of her husband's estate is one-quarter if he has no children. If the deceased has no relatives other than those mentioned, the mother receives one-third of the remainder and the father receives two-thirds.

The wife is entitled to one-quarter of the house owned by her deceased husband if he has no other assets. She must remain in it until her 'iddah (waiting period) expires. She has the right to reside in it even after the 'iddah expires if the husband's parents agree, or she may return to her own parents.
