What is the ruling regarding someone upon whom many missed prayers have accumulated, and he feels burdened by them? And is the failure to make them up considered persistence in a minor sin? And is the repentance of one who does not make them up valid, while maintaining the current prayers? And is it permissible for him to seek forgiveness for every sin without making them up?

The fatwa we follow necessitates making up missed prayers immediately, in a way that does not harm your body or livelihood. If you fall short, you are sinful. Some scholars hold the view that making up two days' worth of prayers each day is sufficient, as a facilitation. So, seek Allah's help and dedicate time for this, with commitment and striving initially until it becomes a habit, while remembering the immense reward of prayer.
