What are the authentic Sunnah books, what is the order of their authenticity, who are their authors, and how can Muslims benefit from them?

There are books that specialized in authenticating hadith, such as Sahih al-Bukhari and Muslim, which are the most authentic books after the Holy Qur'an. They are followed by Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah, then Ibn Hibban, then Mustadrak al-Hakim. There are other books that contained authentic and non-authentic hadith, such as the Sunan books, Al-Muwatta, and Al-Musnad. One benefits from them by studying them, reading them to scholars, and acting upon what has been established therein.
