How can one distinguish between the creation of God and the creation of humans, in light of the fact that God sometimes creates from nothing and sometimes from materials He Himself created, while humans always create from materials God originated, and what is the precise meaning of creation?

The answer

Allah Almighty is the Creator out of nothing and without any prior example. He is the Creator of every maker and their craft, and by merely saying "Be," it is," He creates what He wills. As for human creation, it is limited to transforming something from one form to another, and this too is by Allah's decree and creation. Therefore, creation in its true sense belongs to Allah alone, without parallel. The term "creation" also applies to estimation or planning, which is what can be ascribed to a created being.
