What should be done if, two weeks after a person's death, it is discovered that their burial was incorrect, as they were placed on their left side facing away from the Qibla? Is it permissible to conceal this matter?

If a funeral is buried, it is obligatory to respect it and leave it as is, and it is not permissible to exhume it except out of necessity. Facing the Qibla (definition) is among the Sunnahs of burial, not among the necessities that would necessitate exhuming the grave. If an error occurs in orienting the deceased towards the Qibla, it should be rectified if the burial has not yet taken place. However, if the deceased has already been buried, then they should be left as is.
