The answer

It is not permissible to work in a hotel where indecencies are committed, or alcoholic beverages are served, or lewd parties are held, and one must leave it. If the worker does not directly commit the forbidden act or assist in it, and his salary is in exchange for a permissible service, there is no harm in him benefiting from it. However, he incurs sin for being present in places of evil. But if the wage received for permissible work is from the very essence of ill-gotten money (such as the price of alcohol), especially if the hotel owner is a Muslim, then it is not permissible to take it, and it must be spent on the welfare of Muslims or given as charity to the poor. A poor person may take from it what suffices his needs.
